| Personal History |
| I was born in Nashville Tennessee, graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1993 and received a commission in the Navy through the ROTC program. Having relatives in the Skagit Valley area, flying EA6B Prowlers out of Whidbey Island Naval Air Station seemed the natural choice for a duty station. Once established in the area, I quickly came to realize the beauty, comfort and sense of security that Skagit County, and more specifically Anacortes, has to offer. In 1999 I moved to Anacortes where Moose (my black lab) and I plan to remain for the foreseeable future. I affiliated with Windermere in 2004 and currently serve in the Navy Reserves at Whidbey. |
| Why Anacortes? |
| A list of all the positives Anacortes has to offer would well exceed the scope of this site, so I will limit my comments to what I see as it’s strongest selling points: location and geography. In the heart of the Pacific Northwest, placed neatly between Seattle and Bellingham, Anacortes is the gateway to the San Juan Islands. Easy ferry access puts Puget Sound and the Straits of Juan De Fuca right at your fingertips. A mere two-hour drive in the opposite direction and you can be engulfed by refreshing mountain air as you carve tracks on Mt. Baker or at Steven’s Pass. If boating and the mountains do not satisfy your cravings for outdoor activity, explore Anacortes’ nearly 2800 acres of Community Forest Lands on foot, bike or horse! |

| I have been active in the local real estate market since 2000, when I bought my first home. Having served at Whidbey Island in the training squadron, I have numerous friends and coworkers who have bought, sold, and bought again.
